Basketborg Game
Step onto the court like never before — a quick decision-making game that blends basketball, strategy, and cutting-edge technology.
Basketborg is a 2D, accessible, and responsive game built with Phaser. You play as a human equipped with a high-tech robotic exoskeleton designed to enhance your performance and calculate the success percentage of the best move: pass, shoot, or dribble.
Every play’s outcome depends on your strategic decisions, the exoskeleton's boosted stats, and a touch of randomness — representing those unpredictable elements that only a human might notice.
The theme of "robot and balance" is explored creatively: technology provides powerful support, but it’s not flawless. The game highlights how the balance between human skill and tech assistance is crucial — on the court and in real life.
Project Highlight
With accessibility at its core, Basketborg features full keyboard navigation, speech synthesis narration, and an interface designed for all devices — without sacrificing gameplay.
Technologies used:
- Phaser 3
- Vite
- JavaScript
- Web Speech API
Basketborg is proudly open-source! Feel free to explore the code, suggest improvements, or open pull requests. Whether you want to contribute features, report bugs, or help with accessibility — your help is welcome

It says you didn't upload your game to the page yet. Let me know if you need any help with that.
Hi @raptor9999, thank you so much for the support! I'm new around here and this was my first submission hehehe 😅 I ended up submitting my entry just a few minutes before the deadline, and I didn’t have time to properly upload the game. I was a bit afraid of editing anything after the deadline and getting disqualified.
Do you know if I can still host the game (on Itch.io itself, for example) and add more information to the page without any issues? I'm also participating in the "Open Source" and "Build with Phaser" challenges, so I’d like to know if it's okay to update the README on my GitHub repo as well.
Thanks again for the help!
